A short description
Write a post on your iPhone, preview the page, then publish a complete static blog to your own hosting. Selfish builds the HTML, feeds, sitemap and archives locally. Your website keeps working independently of the app, and your writing can leave as Markdown.
What to try in a review
Create a small site and write a post with a photo. Preview it in the composer, choose a theme, then generate the whole site from the publish screen. Configure a supported destination, review the changes and publish. Finally, export the writing to see what portability means in practice.
An existing blog can be imported before anything is published. Keep its old host available while checking that images and old post addresses came across. The migration guide describes the limits as well as the steps.
Selfish is Apple-only. It does not provide a hosting account, a newsletter service, comments or a plugin system. Hosting may cost separately. Those are useful tradeoffs to cover alongside the app’s local generation and one-time purchase.
